The Republic Bank of Colombia has one of the most important art museums and collections of pieces in Latin America. The location of the museum is in “La Candelaria” the historical center of Bogota. This exhibition shows the largest collection of dead nuns painted in the sixteenth century. The design concept was focused on the beauty of the death of its time illustrating black and yellow colors and a rigid grid for the texts. The visuals are a mixture of the past with the present indicating the historical time with a modern presentation. The paintings were the beginning of the portrait style.
