We were commissioned for the editorial design and video editing of the PSA project through the Universidad de los Andes for the Ministry of the Environment of Colombia. Three months of immersion in nature, exploring how tourism can be a tool for conservation and how enrolling in a government program can create real impact. The challenge was to make it engaging and accessible for communities.
We opted for an educational design, both in the video and the printed guide, filled with color, images, collages, and diagrams that made reading not just informative but captivating. One of the most special parts was revisiting my family travel photos—those images you think you’ll never look at again took on new life in the collages. Like embroidery, each image became a thread to tell a story.
Because in the end, that’s what it’s all about: connecting, making people not only understand the information but feel like they can be part of the change.
In the end, this project made it into a full-page news article in the country’s most important newspaper, and to our surprise, the cover of the guide was featured as well!
