Scotia GBS reached out to me to design the commemorative footprint/symbol for their 10th anniversary in Colombia. This was a really interesting project to work on because most of it was done by hand—I only used a scanner to digitize the design and a projector to display it on the wall. I created the footprint on parchment paper using calligraphy with a fine Posca marker, and for the mural, I used a thick, round-tip Posca. I experimented with other brands, but Posca had the deepest black. The idea of incorporating the bicycle into the footprint came from wanting to include a key symbol of the Huellas program (which is based on cycling) and, of course, from the need to create a personalized, unique design with a specific message tailored exclusively to the brand.
